Who I am

Here you are on my site "The Joshua Tree Cactus"

I'll tell you my story...

After years of working at a desk as a clerk

foreign salesman, I have finally found my way.

Ever since I was little I have seen the sewing machine, fabrics and threads in my mother's work room.

At first I didn't pay much attention to it, then it became my passion.

After a few years of work stoppage due to family issues, I received an unexpected gift: a small family sewing machine, the following year another one arrived, this time electronic, then an industrial one and finally a serger.

Over the course of these years I obtained a diploma as a tailoring pattern maker: for a while I created beautiful tailor-made suits for a circle of clients (which I still sew between one plant and another).

Despite this, I want to create something more particular. Hence the idea of helping all people with a black thumb (starting with me) to have a touch of green in their home without needing special care, let's say "without stress": the memory of a holiday in the States helped me look for the right name for this new adventure.

I therefore study the plants that I cannot make flower, I analyze their shapes, colors and structure in order to reinterpret it in a textile key.

And here comes this mini collection of fabric plants full of personality and style, suitable for all environments: home, office, shop..

It's a journey through fabrics, shapes and colors that I'm sure you'll be passionate about.
